What is massage?
Massage is used for therapeutic purposes, acting as either a stimulant or relaxant by manipulating the soft tissues & muscles of the body. The therapeutic touch of massage aids & treats a wide range of conditions, beneficial to both body & mind, therefore making it an effective holistic treatment.
Treatment will only commence following a full consultation which is to the client's benefit. Body Analysis is optional.

- Spastic conditions
- Dysfunction of the nervous system
Contra-actions
- Slight decrease in body temperature
- Dehydration
- Frequency in urination
- Possible bowel movement
- Headaches/light-headedness
- Feelings of elation or low mood
- High energy or tiredness
- Erythema (redness to skin as result of increase in blood circulation to surface of skin)
After care
- Increase fluid intake of water and fruit juices
- Avoid caffeine, alcohol & smoking for 24 hours
- Avoid heavy, large meals
- Avoid driving long distances
- Rest for a few hours if possible
- Do not have a bath for the rest of the day
- Avoid any active or strenuous activity for rest of the day.
